  1. In Royal Skousen’s “The Book of Mormon: The Earliest Text”, 1 Nephi 11:9 reads a little differently:

    And it came to pass that after that I had seen the tree,
    I said unto the Spirit:
    I behold thou hast shewn unto me the tree
    which is most precious above all.
