That after they should be destroyed,
even that great city Jerusalem,
and many be carried away captive into Babylon,
according to the own due time of the Lord, they should return again,
yea, even be brought back out of captivity;
and after they should be brought back out of captivity
they should possess again the land of their inheritance.
1 Nephi 12:10
And these twelve ministers whom thou beholdest shall judge thy seed.
And, behold, they are righteous forever;
for because of their faith in the Lamb of God
their garments are made white in his blood.

And the angel said unto me: Look!
And I looked, and beheld three generations pass away in righteousness;
and their garments were white even like unto the Lamb of God.

These are made white in the blood of the Lamb,

Nevertheless, thou beholdest that the Gentiles
who have gone forth out of captivity,
and have been lifted up by the power of God
above all other nations, upon the face of the land
which is choice above all other lands,
which is the land that the Lord God hath covenanted with thy father
that his seed should have for the land of their inheritance;
wherefore, thou seest that the Lord God will not suffer
that the Gentiles will utterly destroy the mixture of thy seed,
which are among thy brethren.

And it shall come to pass, that
if the Gentiles shall hearken unto the Lamb of God in that day
that he shall manifest himself unto them in word, and also in power, in very deed,
unto the taking away of their stumbling blocks —

For the time cometh, saith the Lamb of God,
that I will work a great and a marvelous work among the children of men;
a work which shall be everlasting,
either on the one hand or on the other —
either to the convincing of them unto peace and life eternal,
or unto the deliverance of them to the hardness of their hearts
and the blindness of their minds
unto their being brought down into captivity,
and also into destruction, both temporally and spiritually,
according to the captivity of the devil, of which I have spoken.
