Therefore they sent their armies forth;

yea, even the king himself went before his people;

and they went up to the land of Nephi to destroy the people of Limhi.

And it came to pass that

their continual cries did stir up the remainder of the people of Limhi

to anger against the Lamanites;

and they went again to battle,

but they were driven back again,

suffering much loss.

Yea, they went again even the third time,
