Mosiah 24:18

Now it came to pass that Alma

and his people in the night–time gathered their flocks together,

and also of their grain;

yea, even all the night–time were they gathering the flocks together.

Mosiah 26:9

And it came to pass that Alma did not know concerning them;

but there were many witnesses against them;

yea, the people stood and testified of their iniquity in abundance.

And it came to pass that Alma went

and judged those that had been taken in iniquity,

according to the word of the Lord.

and those who were with Alma at the time the angel appeared unto them,

traveling round about through all the land,

publishing to all the people the things which they had heard and seen,

and preaching the word of God

in much tribulation,

being greatly persecuted by those who were unbelievers,

being smitten by many of them.
