Alma 30:29

Now when the high priest and the chief judge saw the hardness of his heart,

yea, when they saw that he would revile even against God,

they would not make any reply to his words;

but they caused that he should be bound;

and they delivered him up into the hands of the officers,

and sent him to the land of Zarahemla,

that he might be brought before Alma, and the chief judge

who was governor over all the land.

Alma 30:54

Now when he had said this,

he besought that Alma should pray unto God,

that the curse might be taken from him.

yea, and behold a type was raised up in the wilderness,

that whosoever would look upon it might live.

O my brethren, if ye could be healed

by merely casting about your eyes that ye might be healed,

would ye not behold quickly,

or would ye rather harden your hearts in unbelief, and be slothful,

that ye would not cast about your eyes, that ye might perish?

And the people of Ammon departed out of the land of Jershon,

and came over into the land of Melek,

and gave place in the land of Jershon for the armies of the Nephites,

that they might contend with the armies of the Lamanites

and the armies of the Zoramites;

and thus commenced a war betwixt the Lamanites and the Nephites,

in the eighteenth year of the reign of the judges;

and an account shall be given of their wars hereafter.

Alma 35:16

Therefore, he caused that his sons should be gathered together,

that he might give unto them every one his charge, separately,

concerning the things pertaining unto righteousness.

And we have an account of his commandments, which he gave unto them

according to his own record.
