Alma 30:32

Now Alma said unto him:

Thou knowest that we do not glut ourselves upon the labors of this people;

for behold I have labored

even from the commencement of the reign of the judges until now,

with mine own hands for my support,

notwithstanding my many travels round about the land

to declare the word of God unto my people.

Alma 30:59

And it came to pass that as he went forth among the people,

yea, among a people who had separated themselves from the Nephites

and called themselves Zoramites, being led by a man whose name was Zoram —

and as he went forth amongst them,

behold, he was run upon and trodden down, even until he was dead.

Alma 31:2

For it was the cause of great sorrow to Alma to know of iniquity among his people;

therefore his heart was exceedingly sorrowful

because of the separation of the Zoramites from the Nephites.

Alma 31:8

Now the Zoramites were dissenters from the Nephites;

therefore they had had the word of God preached unto them.

If so, wo shall come upon you;

but if not so, then cast about your eyes

and begin to believe in the Son of God,

that he will come to redeem his people,

and that he shall suffer and die to atone for their sins;

and that he shall rise again from the dead,

which shall bring to pass the resurrection,

that all men shall stand before him,

to be judged at the last and judgment day, according to their works.

Alma 35:1

Now it came to pass that after Amulek had made an end of these words,

they withdrew themselves from the multitude

and came over into the land of Jershon.
