Alma 36:11

And the angel spake more things unto me,

which were heard by my brethren,

but I did not hear them;

for when I heard the words —

If thou wilt be destroyed of thyself,

seek no more to destroy the church of God —

I was struck with such great fear and amazement

lest perhaps I should be destroyed,

that I fell to the earth and I did hear no more.

Alma 37:29

Therefore ye shall keep

these secret plans of their oaths and their covenants

from this people,

and only their wickedness and their murders and their abominations

shall ye make known unto them;

and ye shall teach them to abhor such wickedness and abominations and murders;

and ye shall also teach them that these people were destroyed

on account of their wickedness and abominations and their murders.

Alma 37:34

Teach them to never be weary of good works,

but to be meek and lowly in heart;

for such shall find rest to their souls.
