Alma 45:15

And now it came to pass that

after Alma had said these things to Helaman,

he blessed him, and also his other sons;

and he also blessed the earth for the righteous' sake.

And now it came to pass that after Helaman and his brethren

had appointed priests and teachers over the churches

that there arose a dissension among them,

and they would not give heed to the words of Helaman and his brethren;

And it came to pass that all they who loved the king,

when they heard these words,

they became more hardened and impenitent,

and more wild, wicked and ferocious than the Lamanites —

drinking in with the traditions of the Lamanites;

giving way to indolence, and all manner of lasciviousness;

yea, entirely forgetting the Lord their God.

Alma 49:8

But behold, to their uttermost astonishment,

they were prepared for them, in a manner

which never had been known among the children of Lehi.

Now they were prepared for the Lamanites,

to battle after the manner of the instructions of Moroni.
