Nevertheless they did fast and pray oft,

and did wax stronger and stronger in their humility,

and firmer and firmer in the faith of Christ,

unto the filling their souls with joy and consolation,

yea, even to the purifying and the sanctification of their hearts,

which sanctification cometh because of their yielding their hearts unto God.

Helaman 5:41

And Aminadab said unto them:

You must repent, and cry unto the voice,

even until ye shall have faith in Christ,

who was taught unto you by Alma, and Amulek, and Zeezrom;

and when ye shall do this,

the cloud of darkness shall be removed from overshadowing you.

and did declare unto the people of the Nephites the manner of their conversion,

and did exhort them to faith and repentance.
