Helaman 3:32

And it came to pass that there was peace and exceedingly great joy

in the remainder of the forty and ninth year;

yea, and also there was continual peace and great joy

in the fiftieth year of the reign of the judges.

Helaman 3:35

Nevertheless they did fast and pray oft,

and did wax stronger and stronger in their humility,

and firmer and firmer in the faith of Christ,

unto the filling their souls with joy and consolation,

yea, even to the purifying and the sanctification of their hearts,

which sanctification cometh because of their yielding their hearts unto God.

And Nephi and Lehi were in the midst of them;

yea, they were encircled about;

yea, they were as if in the midst of a flaming fire,

yet it did harm them not,

neither did it take hold upon the walls of the prison;

and they were filled with that joy which is unspeakable and full of glory.

Nevertheless, the people of the church did have great joy

because of the conversion of the Lamanites,

yea, because of the church of God, which had been established among them.
